A shocking incident of antisemitic hate speech unfolded in the lobby of a building in Manhattan, where a woman was recorded making deeply disturbing remarks to a Jewish man. The woman, identified only as “Noora,” was captured on video shouting, “I Want ISIS to Kill You all! I demand Jihad!”
The incident, which took place at 950 Third Avenue near East 57th Street, has sparked widespread outrage and is now under investigation by the New York Police Department (NYPD) Hate Crimes Task Force.
Antisemitic Confrontation in New York
The confrontation occurred when Noora aggressively entered the personal space of a Hasidic Jewish man who was merely passing through the lobby of the office building.
Witness Seth Bell, a lawyer, noticed the altercation and intervened. According to Bell, the woman was making remarks such as “Jew,” “genocide,” “Israel,” and “Palestine,” equating the man’s Jewish identity with the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Bell confronted Noora and asked her if she was attacking the individual simply because he was Jewish. In response, she bizarrely declared, “I love Jesus.” The situation escalated as she physically assaulted Bell, swatting at his hand and attempting to kick him.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Bell chose to document the encounter on his phone. He told Noora that she had “messed with the wrong Jew today.” Undeterred, she continued her tirade, openly proclaiming her support for terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and ISIS. Her words, “I am conspiring with them!” sent chills through those who witnessed the outburst.
Police Response and Investigation
Security personnel at the office building quickly intervened and called the police. The NYPD arrived at the scene and took the woman into custody. Law enforcement sources revealed that she was subsequently transported to Bellevue Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
As of now, the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is actively investigating the case. Manhattan prosecutors are reviewing the footage and gathering evidence to determine appropriate charges.
Given the severity of her remarks and the violent nature of her actions, legal experts suggest she could face hate crime charges, incitement to violence, and possibly even terror-related charges.
Noora Shalash, a violent official for CAIR, the largest Islam and Muslim advocacy nonprofit in the U.S., was caught on video this week in Manhattan shouting, "F— the Jews" and saying, "I demand Jihad! I demand jihad! I want ISIS to kill all of you."

While in police custody, the woman identified herself as Noora Bandoora. However, an online group known as the “Jew Hate Database” on X (formerly Twitter) claimed she had used a different name in the past.
The group alleged that she was affiliated with a state chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), where she had served as the “director of government affairs.” CAIR has not yet responded to these claims.
Growing Concerns Over Antisemitism
This incident has intensified concerns over the rise of antisemitic rhetoric and violence in the United States, particularly in cities like New York, which has one of the largest Jewish populations in the world. Community leaders and Jewish advocacy groups have condemned the attack, calling for swift justice and stronger protections against hate crimes.
Seth Bell, who documented the incident, expressed his concerns about the rising tide of antisemitism in America. “This is what we are dealing with in New York City,” he said. His statement echoes the fears of many in the Jewish community, who feel increasingly unsafe due to the proliferation of hate speech and violent threats.

In response, the NYPD has reassured the public that they are committed to investigating hate crimes thoroughly. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has also stated that his office will take any necessary legal actions to hold the perpetrator accountable.
The case has reignited the debate over hate speech laws and whether stronger measures should be implemented to prevent such incidents. Advocacy groups have called for better education about antisemitism and harsher penalties for those who incite violence.
As the investigation unfolds, many are watching closely to see how the legal system will respond. The Jewish community, along with allies from various backgrounds, continues to demand justice and protection against such blatant displays of hatred.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the persistent threats faced by minorities and the urgent need for vigilance against intolerance and extremism.
