Couples who travel together tend to express more affection, with 55% going on romantic beach walks, 54% watching sunsets, and 53% holding hands. These simple yet intimate gestures contribute to making a destination feel more romantic.

Furthermore, the survey indicated that traveling together is often viewed as a significant step in a relationship. Around 76% of participants saw vacationing together as a serious step in their relationship, while 72% agreed that spontaneous couple vacations add a spark of excitement to their lives.

Dana Studbaker, vice president of marketing at Funjet Vacations, noted that vacationing is not just about visiting new places but about deepening the romance between partners. By eliminating the hassle of planning and providing a stress-free environment, all-inclusive resorts allow couples to focus entirely on each other, further enhancing the romantic experience.

Michael Lowery, the head of global consumer business at Funjet Vacations, recommended that couples incorporate activities like yoga, snorkeling, and hiking into their vacations to build stronger connections.

He emphasized that sharing new adventures together, such as paddleboarding or wine tasting, helps couples bond and creates opportunities for meaningful interactions. He also encouraged choosing all-inclusive resorts to avoid extra charges and to ensure that all activities are easily accessible.
