Lalit Patidar, an 18-year-old from India, has made history by securing a place in the Guinness World Record for Hairiest Face of any male.
His remarkable condition, known as hypertrichosis or ‘werewolf syndrome,’ has led to an astonishing 201.72 hairs per square centimetre on his face, covering over 95 per cent of his facial skin. A trichologist meticulously measured the density of his facial hair by shaving small sections and counting the hair per square centimetre. When the results confirmed that he had officially broken the record, Lalit expressed his overwhelming happiness, saying he was “speechless” and delighted to receive such recognition.
