The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office has made a significant breakthrough in the case involving the theft of three luxury cars from the home of University of Miami quarterback Carson Beck.
Tykwon DeAndre Anderson, a 20-year-old resident of Miami Gardens, Florida, was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including burglary of an occupied dwelling and grand theft auto. The arrest, which took place on Thursday afternoon, marks a major step forward in the investigation as authorities continue to search for three other suspects who remain at large.
Details of the Burglary
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the burglary occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning when Anderson and three unknown co-defendants arrived at Beck’s residence around 2:45 a.m. Surveillance footage and police reports indicate that two of the suspects jumped over a concrete fence to gain access to the enclosed driveway.
At the time of the incident, Beck’s red 2023 Lamborghini Urus was securely parked inside his garage, while his silver 2023 Mercedes-Benz E635 and a white 2025 Range Rover belonging to his girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, were parked in the driveway.
The burglars managed to break into the Range Rover and obtain a garage door opener, which allowed them to enter the home and retrieve the key fobs for all three vehicles from the living room.

Once inside, Anderson stole Beck’s Lamborghini from the garage, while the other two suspects simultaneously made off with the Mercedes and Range Rover. Fortunately, Beck and Cavinder, a player for the Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team and social media influencer, were asleep at the time of the burglary and were unharmed.
Investigation and Arrest
The police swiftly launched an investigation, recovering the abandoned Range Rover on a nearby street in south Miami shortly after the crime. By early Thursday afternoon, authorities also located Beck’s Mercedes.
Law enforcement officials were able to identify Anderson through the license plate of a rental vehicle used to transport the suspects to the crime scene.

Further evidence was obtained from the tracking data of the rented Mercedes-Benz E63, which placed it at Beck’s residence at the time of the burglary. Surveillance footage also revealed that the stolen Lamborghini and the rented vehicle were traveling together after the theft.
When police apprehended Anderson, he was found operating the rented Mercedes. In custody, Anderson provided a full confession, detailing the events of the burglary and admitting to driving the stolen Lamborghini.
His admission was a crucial element in the case, providing law enforcement with key information about how the theft unfolded and the roles played by his accomplices, who remain at large.
Unresolved Questions and Ongoing Investigation
Despite Anderson’s arrest, significant aspects of the case remain unresolved. The most pressing concern is the whereabouts of Beck’s stolen Lamborghini, which has not yet been recovered.
Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office stated that authorities are continuing their efforts to locate the missing vehicle and apprehend the remaining suspects.
Meanwhile, the high-profile nature of the burglary has drawn widespread attention, particularly given Beck’s prominence as a college football quarterback and Cavinder’s substantial social media following.
Beck, who recently transferred to the University of Miami for his final year of NCAA eligibility, has been in the public eye for his impressive record at Georgia. He had previously declared for the 2025 NFL Draft before undergoing season-ending elbow surgery in December.
Cavinder, on the other hand, has been a standout performer for the Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team, playing alongside her twin sister, Haley. The sisters, who gained massive popularity through their social media presence, have secured lucrative NIL deals with major brands, adding an extra layer of public interest to the case.
As the investigation continues, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about the stolen Lamborghini or the whereabouts of the remaining suspects to come forward.
