Salman Khan
Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, has been at the top of Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list for years. The root of this enmity dates back to Khan’s involvement in the black-buck poaching case in the late 1990s. The black buck, a species revered by the Bishnoi community, is sacred, and its killing incensed Bishnoi, who vowed revenge.
In 2018, his aide Sampat Nehra was arrested for conducting surveillance on Khan, with plans to assassinate the actor. While the police intervened and prevented the attack, the threat persisted, culminating in an attempted shooting in April 2024, which also failed due to swift police action.
Zeeshan Siddique
Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA and the son of the late Baba Siddique, found himself on Bishnoi’s radar due to his close relationship with Salman Khan. Zeeshan’s father, Baba Siddique, a former NCP leader and close friend of Khan, was murdered in an orchestrated attack by Bishnoi’s syndicate on the night of Dussehra.
Dharmaraj Kashyap and Gurmail Singh, the gunmen involved, revealed that Zeeshan was also targeted as part of the same vendetta. Baba Siddique’s connection to Salman Khan, whom Bishnoi holds responsible for the black-buck incident, seems to have placed the Siddique family in the gang’s crosshairs.
Munawar Faruqui
Comedian Munawar Faruqui is another high-profile individual on Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list. Known for his controversial stand-up acts, Faruqui has been a polarizing figure in Indian media. Bishnoi’s gang reportedly targeted Faruqui during a wedding in Delhi, where two gunmen attempted to attack him.
Fortunately, intelligence agencies were quick to intervene, and Faruqui was relocated to Mumbai under heightened security. The exact motive behind targeting Faruqui remains unclear, but given Bishnoi’s expanding reach into Bollywood and the entertainment industry, Faruqui’s prominence may have made him a potential target.
Shaganpreet Singh
Shaganpreet Singh, the former manager of the slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, is another name on Bishnoi’s hit list. The animosity stems from the murder of Vicky Middukhera, a close associate of Bishnoi, in August 2021.
Bishnoi believes that Shaganpreet provided refuge to the killers of Middukhera, which ultimately made him a marked man. Given Bishnoi’s intense loyalty to his associates, Shaganpreet’s involvement in sheltering Middukhera’s killers put him directly in the gangster’s line of fire.
Kaushal Chaudhary
Kaushal Chaudhary, a member of the rival Bambiha gang, has long been on Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list due to their criminal rivalry. The Bambiha and Bishnoi gangs have been engaged in a fierce power struggle in the Indian criminal underworld.
Chaudhary’s involvement in supplying weapons to the killers of Vicky Middukhera, Bishnoi’s close aide, exacerbated the feud. As a key figure in the rival gang, Chaudhary remains one of Bishnoi’s primary targets, and his association with the death of Middukhera has only fueled the enmity between the two factions.
Amit Dagar
Amit Dagar is closely allied with Kaushal Chaudhary and, as a result, has also landed on Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list. Dagar was reportedly involved in the death of Vicky Middukhera, which has made him a target of Bishnoi’s gang.
The rivalry between the Bambiha and Bishnoi gangs has intensified in recent years, and Dagar’s involvement in Middukhera’s murder placed him in the crosshairs of Bishnoi’s syndicate. His close ties to Chaudhary further cement his position as a target for retribution from Bishnoi’s gang.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list is a complex mix of personal vendettas, criminal rivalries, and community-driven motives. From Bollywood stars like Salman Khan to comedians like Munawar Faruqui and political figures like Zeeshan Siddique, the reasons for targeting each individual vary but ultimately boil down to Bishnoi’s desire for revenge, power, and influence.
As his crime syndicate continues to expand, the list of high-profile targets grows, making his reach into Bollywood, politics, and other areas of public life all the more concerning.
